I was able to pull myself away from the mountains long enough to get in some railfanning on my old stomping grounds in Eastern North Carolina and Virginia. I met two of my good friends Michael Reid and Jeff Hawkins for a day on CSX's North End Subdivision. Here are the results of the action we saw that day.
