While on vacation in Las Vegas,
NV in March of 2007 I managed to get to some of my all time favorite railfan
spots to get some updated photos. I was also able to visit the Cima
Subdivision (Union Pacific) and the south end of the Meadow Valley Wash (Union
Pacific) as well. I would like to thank Ken Carr from Las Vegas, NV
for his help in getting me the information I would need to get into the Meadow
Valley area.

My 1st trip out on the Cima Subdivision landed me Union Pacific #6559 leading
a coal train at CP Dawes (near Kelso, CA).
An eastbound UP enters the Meadow Valley Wash at near Farrior, NV.
You can see the entire eastbound from the overlook at Farrior, NV. This
train is just entering the Meadow Valley Wash.
