Just north of West Avenue in Fresno along Santa Fe Ave is a great location to sit in your car and just wait and not for very long. With an average of almost 50 freights and 12 Amtraks per day, this is a very busy line for the BNSF.

An Operation Lifesaver "Sting Train" sits on the Figarden siding just north of Shaw waiting for a green to head back.

Just a short drive north to Ave 7 in Madera County lies a fabulous spot for "foaming" as BNSF rolls across the San Joaquin River.
