BNSF 1048 passes the east end of Los Angeles International Airport south runway at Lairport, as a Boeing airliner passes overhead. This is actually a composite photo, which combines two separate images made five seconds apart. I tried to get an airplane and a locomotive in a single frame on numerous occasions, but in the end had to resort to compositing to get the desired image. January 23, 2002.
