Carolina Southern Crossing
into Myrtle Beach

Friday, June 22, 2001. The Carolina Southern Railroad crosses the Pine Island
drawbridge into Myrtle Beach, SC for the first time in 14 years. This marks a new 
era for a railroad who has been working towards attaining the line for the last 10 
years. Who knows what lies next. I hope to see some freight trains rolling into 
my home town as well as possibly some excursions or dinner trains.
