Shuttle Discovery made its final voyage on April 17, from Florida to Northern Virginia.
Shuttle fans and onlookers came to the Udvar-Hazy museum near Dulles Airport.
Before Discovery toured downtown DC, a flyover was made at the museum.
Shuttle Discovery atop the modified 747-100 found a patch of blue sky.

NASA's Northrop T38 Talon N955NA made a gear-down pass right after Discovery.
After flying over DC, our second Shuttle pass was made approaching runway 1R.
The second flyover was made against a grey sky.
