Take I-35 to 27th Ave West exit (Exit 254).Take 27th Ave
West to Superior Street, and make a LEFT on Superior.
Continue west on Superior, which doglegs left, magically
becoming Michigan Street West. Continue west on Michigan
to South 37 1/2 (that's right, 37 and one-half) Ave West.
Make a LEFT on 37 1/2 Ave West, and proceed across the I-35
overcrossing. At the end of the viaduct turn LEFT on
Oneota Street. Follow Oneota under the abandoned
railroad trestle and turn LEFT at the DM&IR sign. As
you pass underneath the west DM&IR coal dock trestle,
to the right you will see the DM&IR Visitor Parking
area right next to the steel observation deck.
