     The METRO MODEL RAILROAD CLUB, Ltd. of Port Washington will be holding their 13th annual Swap Meet \ Model Railroad Show on Sunday, March 30th, 2008, Note new date at Circle B Recreation Bowling Alley on Hwy.60 in Cedarburg, WI. To get to the hall from Milwaukee take I-43 North to the Hwy. 60 Exit and go west on Hwy. 60 for approx. 4 miles. The METRO RR Club show in March of 2007 had over 1300+ people attending. Flyers will be distributed at area hobby shops, clubs, and at various other swap meets. We will be also advertising in various local newspapers and publications.

 

     There are 50+ tables available for dealers selling Model Railroad or Railroad items only . The 8’ tables are available at $15 each, on a first reserved - first served basis. A new item for the 2008 show is that we are required to report to the State of Wisconsin all dealers that sell at the show and their sales tax number or if they do not have one their Social Security number. We must have this info on the day of the show or before or we can not allow you to sell at the show. Click here for the form that must be filled out. Tables for the 2007 show were sold out by December 1st,, 2006, so reserve early. Payment must be received to reserve a table. The meet will run from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., with set-up starting at 6:15 a.m. The Hall does not allow anything to be attached to the walls, but freestanding displays in the space of your booth are allowed. It is agreed that reasonable precautions will be taken by the METRO RR Club to safeguard the property and interests of the vendors. However, the METRO RR Club cannot be held responsible for injury, loss, damage, fires, etc. to persons or property for the duration of the meet. Cancellation policy: Cancellations later than March 15th will result in no refund. Cancellations prior to March 15th will be refunded if we can resell your table space. Dealers must be setup by 8:30a.m. If you do not show up by 8:30a.m., your tables will be resold with no refund.
