110-282 leads a RegionalExpress train made up of Silverfish coaches out of Stuttgart HBF heading to Heilbronn. Silverfish cars (in silver) are very rare these days.
A BR110 in Verkersrot leads a RegionalExpress train towards Nordlingen.
110-484, still in turquise and cream is on the point of a RegionalExpress destined for Stuttgart.
The BR 143 series locomotives were an East German design. They are relatively new (built in the mid 1980s), and are everywhere in Germany. 143-972 is pulling a RegionalExpress through the Black Forest.
Diesel Locomotives are gettng scarce on passenger trains in Germany; they are quickly being replaced with DMUs. The 218 is the most common diesel locomotive in Germany.
