Changing government priorities led to a decline in our work and I found myself looking for a job again in 1994 at age 50. I was fortunate to get a position with a large telecommunications company, whose research group was relocating to Austin, Texas. I finished out my technical career researching topics such as cellular telephone location technologies, ultra-wideband communications, and Internet over satellite.

I am now retired from the workplace and my days are filled with bicycling, duplicate bridge (as a player, director, and webmaster), juggling, and maintaining home and autos. My novel was not a commercial success so I haven't been inspired to try another one, but have enjoyed, and still enjoy, the wonderful feedback from readers.
