NS 3182
I have always like this NS scheme and decided to make a locomotive to wear it after I was able to take photos of both sides of this unit, in Spokane, WA, which isn't really NS country. I started with a Rail Power shell and Athearn SD 45 frame. I added a Cannon & Co high nose and air filters from Details West. I made the antennas and lift bars as well as the MU hoses and drop steps. I also made the bell bracket and brake piping. The engineer got an all weather window but the conductor just got a sunshade. I weathered it with a wash of Floquil and a little airbrushing and sealed it with 50/50 mix of dullcote and glosscote.
