For those who are unfamiliar with the term, the 'Golden Horseshoe' covers the area in Ontario, Canada around the western end of Lake Ontario.  It includes the communities of Toronto, Bronte, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Brantford, Grimsby, Welland, St. Catharines, Niagara Falls and Fort Erie.
